How to Pass the First Trimester of Pregnancy Safely?

First trimester of pregnancy includes the first until the third month of pregnant. It can be difficult to pass especially for those who experience this for the very first time. Yet, if you can understand the changes during this time and expect what you might experience, you will know how to pass this exhilarating time assuredly.
What are the changes?
The first thing that you may experience is vomiting frequently. It causes by your heightened sense of smell during the first trimester of pregnancy. Some various odors such as foods cooking, perfume or cigarette smoke might arouse you to vomit in early pregnancy. Avoid any foods or smells which can make your smelling sense sensitive to reduce the vomit frequency.
Due to hormonal changes, you will also experience having a tender and sensitive breast. Wearing a supportive bra or a sports bra might help you. Do some massage to your breasts to reduce the pain and it can also stimulate the hormones to produce milk.
Other changes which might disturb your daily activity are urinating frequently and feeling sleepy. During pregnancy, your bladder will get pressure from your enlarging uterus. It might cause you to leak urine when sneezing, coughing or laughing. Use panty liners to keep you secure from leaking urine. During this time, levels of the progesterone hormone soar. It causes pregnant women to easily feel sleepy. You can't really fight this fatigue. Drinking coffee can possibly harm your fetus, so rest as much as you can and do physical activity such as a brisk walk to keep you full of energy and avoid dizziness.
Besides hormonal changes, you might also experience some emotional changes during this time. You will feel happy, sad, worry, anxious almost all at once. Avoid any negative thinking and take a deep breath to help you relax. Once your emotion is overwhelming, try to rely to your husband to help you staying calm or else consult with your health consultant.
